Package: amanda-client Version: 1:2.5.1-1 Severity: grave Tags: patch Hi,
amanda-client fails without an /etc/amandates file. Doing client check from server complains: ERROR: pc1: [can not read/write /etc/amandates: No such file or directory] To fix it I had to: # touch /etc/amandates chown backup:backup /etc/amandates Either /etc/amandates must be supplied by the package (with proper permissions), or amanda-client must create it if it does not exist.
