Hi Mario, > Did xawtv ever work for you? And if so: can you trace back when it > stopped to do so?
It did not work for me, but I haven't tried it a longer time ago. I can do a binary search with some packages from snapshot.debian.net if you think that's useful. > Oh, and what exactly do you mean with "just noise", you don't mean the > usual black-white noise (the ant war or whatever you like to name it) > on empty channels, do you? No, it's not that, it's on "working" channels. I know they are working because I can hear the sound just fine. I can't capture the image (since it's overlaid). It's blue-green in background colour with the "foreground" noise being more red-like. But it's not more than noise, it has no relation to the actual signal being received. It's the same for all channels but is a bit different on each program run (seems a bit random). > Did you configure xawtv with scantv before? If not - you can also tune > up/down channels with cursor up/down. I've used both scantv and up/down. Switching channels switches the appropriate sound channel but the image stays the same. Thijs
