Hi Benjamin! It seems the error is in the pci_scan() function in src/pci.c. Unfortunately, the strace doesn't tell me anything more about what is wrong. On a side note, the http://gatos.sf.net seems to suggest that all functionality has been merged into X, making this package obsolete. As it hasn't seen any upstream release since 2002 or so, maybe it should be removed altogether?
