Package: golang-godebiancontrol-dev
Severity: serious
X-Debbugs-CC: Michael Stapelberg <[email protected]>

Hi!

I was reviewing old unused golang packages in Debian that have no
reverse dependency [1] and came across this package:

https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/golang-godebiancontrol-dev

The upstream code is from 2014 and the package has no reverse dependency
in Debian. According to upstream homepage it says:

   Maintenance mode

Note that new projects should prefer to use
   https://pault.ag/go/debian instead of this package.

Therefor I don't feel we should ship this package in forky/testing. I'm
opening this bug to trigger testing removal after one week, and open up
for discussion. I think we could eventually file a ftp-master RM bug
for this, unless there are objections.

What do you think?

/Simon
