Applied, thanks.
This does however mean that md5sum is run outside the chroot, rather
than inside, which (in the future) will be necessary when we remove
the restriction that the build directory must be present inside the
chroot (since in schroot mode, apt-get is run inside the chroot, and
the files are therefore downloaded inside the chroot). It does fix
the immediate problem, though.
