Marco, the link given is a darcs repo which was initalised with the current unstable ppp source package and includes also the fix to both #385150 and #384121. you can simply darcs pull http://haydn.debian.org/~eddyp-guest/darcs/ppp/ fixed-ppp and you will have the complete fixed tree under fixed-ppp directory.
