Package: openmpi-bin Version: 1.1-2.1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Running mpi{cc,CC,f77,f90} in i386, amd64 produces > mpicc -v -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Open MPI wrapper compiler was unable to find the specified compiler sparc-linux-gnu-gcc in your PATH. Note that this compiler was either specified at configure time or in one of several possible environment variables. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- This makes whole openmpi useless. Presumably the same problem exists on all platforms except sparc-linux-gnu-gcc. -Juha -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17+juhaj+v1.0 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages openmpi-bin depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.2-20060709-1 GCC support library ii libstdc++6 4.2-20060709-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii openmpi-common 1.1-2.1 high performance message passing l ii openmpi-libs0 1.1-2.1 high performance message passing l openmpi-bin recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
