Starting with version 11.0, qemu upstream dropped 32bit host support
entirely, including qemu utilities. Your package depends on qemu-utils
even on 32bit architectures (i386, armhf, etc). With qemu version 11.0
it wont work anymore.
w/o qemu to run a virtual machine, or the required utils, how exactly would
virtnbdbackup make any sense?
Well, I know nothing about virtnbdbackup package, - I come across it
today for the first time, and learned only that it exists and depends on
qemu-utils. I'm sorry about that.
Please drop dependency on qemu-utils on 32bit host architectures.
i think it makes more sense to remove virtnbdbackup on 32bit.
Yes, if virtnbdbackup really depends on qemu-utils, that's probably the
right thing to do.
BTW, why virtndbackup is arch-any package? I think it's written in
python, with no architecture-specific code in it, - maybe it should be
arch-all instead? In which case you wouldn't need to mess up with
architecture-specific builds and dependencies.
Thanks,
