1:2.0.0+beta3.1-4 is in unstable. As the API of gaim has changed your package
probably needs some changes to support this new version. The changes in the
API of gaim can be found in /usr/share/doc/gaim-data/ChangeLog.API.gz

Thanks for you bugreport but this is already fixed in version 0.5-4
which still needs to be built on a couple of architectures including
i386.
