I agree with your suspicion. After investigating the test failure, the root
cause is indeed the swig 4.4.0 upload to unstable.

When mupdf 1.25.1+ds1-9 was built, python3-mupdf was rebuilt (+b2) using
SWIG 4.4.0, which changed the generated bindings for overloaded functions
like `_newPage`. However, python3-pymupdf's compiled extension
(_extra.cpython-*.so) was still built
against the old bindings from SWIG 4.3.0, causing the type mismatch:

TypeError: Wrong number or type of arguments for overloaded function
'_newPage'

A binNMU of pymupdf should fix this, as it would recompile the extension
against the new python3-mupdf bindings.

Regards!
