Package: madwifi-source
Version: 1:0.9.2+r1710.20060914-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
The drivers seem to build OK for kernel 2.6.16-2-686, but when I try to
actually use them, I get a raft of "disagrees about version of symbol"
reports, and some of the modules in the package refuse to load. To wit:

Bingo, the old modules were still under /lib/modules/<version>/funnyname; in
the Olden Days modprobe wouldn't look in all subdirectories, just specifically
named ones.
Thanks. [closing]
