since this RC bug has seen no action since it was made RC more than 2 weeks ago, I just did a 0-day NMU with the debdiff at the end of this mail. I also took the liberty to update the packaging git on salsa using source packages from snapshot.d.o. I also pushed my changes there since it's in the debian namespace.
