As the only code change from the previous version (if we except the
changes in the hurd directory) are 6 lines of code in the math library,
my guess is that the bug is in gcc-4.1. This also mean that the previous
version in etch fails to build from source the same way, hence the
severity serious.
The last build has been done with gcc-4.1 version 4.1.1-11.
