Thanks for your bug report. I don't see strong evidence of the hanging problem actually having anything to do with ICU. The warning you're getting is not related to the hanging....libicudata is a shared library containing only static data and no code. Other things warn about it too, but it seems to be kosher and shouldn't be related to this problem. I can definitely reproduce the bug that you are reporting, but when I look at a stack trace, I don't see it as being inside of ICU.
