Ok, it builds for me, so there must be something that I'm missing... My feeling is that you might be trying to build directly from the git repository, and make behaves in a slightly different way when doing so (because the timestamps are different). However, if it works in Salsa CI, then it will probably work in the buildds and the package is probably safe to be uploaded as is (because Salsa CI tries to mimic the behaviour of the buildds by first creating a regular source package and then building it the normal way).
