Bug#1117589: Regression: System Hangs at Boot Until Key Press

Severity: critical

Today the boot stuck as originally described abouve happend again. Not booting 
is of critical severity. In most cases I have no physical access to the 
machine, so it stays in a state where nothing can be done from remote.
