The NMU you just did introduces a serious policy violation:
recompiling with GCC 4.1 changes the ABI of the library, so the soname
must change.
I also note that changing the CFLAGS or removing "obsolete" local
variables from the bottom of the changelog is not what I call a
"minimal" change. Debian policy requires that changes made for an NMU
be "minimal".
I am in the middle of a transition of all Ada packages to the new
compiler, and am currently waiting for an update to
packages-arch-specific before I upload new versions of the packages.
This update should reflect the new architectures supported by GCC 4.1.
Please contact me if you would like to help with this transision.
PS. libtexttools is one of three packages I am considering for
removal. If you use this package, please let me know.
