Here the developer of Gweled. I hope to find the time to port Gweled to newer maintained libraries. Unfortunately Clutter, a really good 2D accelerated library, got ditched by GNOME devs without any replacement (no, GSK it's not a replacement).
I will release another version to fix the last undergoing bugs (hope to land on stable Debian) and then I will try to find a way to continue the legacy of this pre-2003 game in the Linux ecosystem.
