With the workaround provided by Jerome the python back-end still doesn't works:
omniidl: Could not import back-end 'python' omniidl: Maybe you need to use the -p option? omniidl: (The error was 'No module named python') I've fixed it by adding '/usr/share/pycentral/omniidl4-python/site-packages/omniidl_be/' to PYTHONPATH also.
