I apologize but I'll probably be out of the debugging loop for a few days. I have just started the build though.
I apoligize again, but I'm totally out of this loop for the time being. Installint systemd's build dependencies pulled in the broken systemd package again I thought "oh fine, that gives us a better testing environment" and progressd to with the build process with the broken systemd instaled.
During the ninja -C build systmctl part, the systen crashed. I guess it ran out of memory or out of disk. Booting with the broken systemd of course fails, leaves me in an initramfs shell without any modules loaded. After loading the necessary modules to see /dev/sda and to be able to invoke lvm vgscan, the machine stopped at the lvm vgchange -ay step and is now hanging for an hour at this point.
I can reset the machine from remote, but that just does fail the same way, and I won't be present at the machine again before monday. I THINK that I'm going to take that hint and not repair the machine and just decommission it. Should I need it again before my last Banana Pi goes out of business, I might repair the system and then return to this issue here, but I hope that won't happen.
Sorry for not being to help. Does it work on i386 or another 32bit arch?
