Rebooting after an upgrade today. Was running trixie w/o any issues before.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Just run "apt upgrade" and rebooted
* What was the outcome of this action?
sddm did not start anymore
* What outcome did you expect instead?
sddm starting as usual :-)
systemctl status sddm reports a failure:
Failed to read display number from pipe.
