Hi Cyril, Thanks for replying back. I had discussed this with Bastian in the IRC channel and have come up with the same inference. I tried out https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/initramfs-tools/-/merge_requests/175 and seems like the system is booting up fine with this patch. Thanks a lot
