Hi, I've been looking at an issue involving python2 that hasn't been resolved yet, upstream has practically given up on the project itself, and many people have already lost interest in Compiz, including Fedora, which distributed Mate with it. Is it still worth it to be an RC bug? I'm a Mate user and have no interest in Compiz. I wasn't even aware of this problem with Mesa, but I remember using it back in the day, about 8 to 10 years ago.
