Package: sysv-rc-bootsplash Version: 1.0.2-1 Severity: serious sysv-rc-bootsplash's postinst uses patch to modify /etc/init.d/rc and /usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/functions. This means that the changes are lost if sysv-rc or initramfs-tools is upgraded, that the maintainer scripts fail if you run them twice, and I guess there are other issues.
