If a package is out of sync between unstable and testing for a longer period, this usually means that bugs in the package in testing cannot be fixed via unstable.

Hello. I am not the maintainer, but I can explain what happened here:

There was a bug in debian/rules which made the package not to build ok
in the arch:all autobuilders (see Bug #1103714). This is now fixed.

I've just told Alberto (the maintainer) that if he does nothing then the version
currently in trixie will be the version in Debian 13, because of the freeze.

But I did not realize about this bug, so what I told him is not true (sorry!).

I think Alberto would appreciate some guideline about what to do now, as I
believe
the version currently in testing would probably be ok for Debian 13.

Thanks.
