Just to make sure: which "browse" mode are you talking about? The Firefox caret browse mode reached through F7, or something particular in Orca ? I tried to install a fresh Debian 12 Bookworm MATE system, then upgrade to Trixie, started firefox, went to orca.gnome.org, pressed F7, moved around in the text, then pressed control-L, it did work. As mentioned by James, it would be useful to try to reproduce with fresh profiles and such to make sure how to reproduce it. Samuel
