Package: bwidget Version: 1.10.1-2 Severity: grave Tags: upstream Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, The following script fails to show the dialog window on updated Debian/testing (using Gnome/X11): package require BWidget Dialog .m .m add -text Yes .m add -text No .m draw (after the last command nothing happens, the script hangs). This makes for example Tkabber or any Tk program that uses BWidget's Dialods unusable, hence the severity. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.10 APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.12.9+bpo-amd64 (SMP w/24 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_WARN, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
