I'm going to report the error I get separately, because as you rightly point out, it seems to be a different problem than the one reported by Lucas. Regarding the possible causes of the errors I get: No, it's unlikely to be lack of RAM, because I monitor /proc/meminfo during the build to be sure that a given package is never built on a machine with less RAM than required. I'll provide full details in the proper bug which I will file next. Thanks.
