Is your username on the client side also "lucio"? If so, those should be literally identical in terms of what the server sees ...
Could I please get the output of both "ssh -vvv localhost" (in a case where it works) and "ssh -vvv lucio@localhost" (in a case where it crashes)? Also whatever server logs you can find.
