yes - harlequin depends on the python parts of apache arrow which is not packaged for Debian yet.

I didn't add a non-existing package name to Depends but instead chose to immediately fill an RC bug to block its migration. That way it is installable in sid and thus easier to test/work with for people until apache arrow is in the archive.

If you'd like me to do it different, just let me know.


From src:harlequin point of view, this is fine I guess. But from src:harlequin-odbc there is a problem, see bug #1102694. If src:harlequin shouldn't be shipped with trixie, either packages from harlequin-odbc shouldn't depend on packages from harlequin if you want to ship it with trixie, or we should remove it (autoremoval is already on its way). That's how I stumbled upon this bug report and I didn't understand your intentions.
