No, this is a valid bug. I encourage you to report bugs like this when you see them. Could you try installing gstreamer1.0-plugins-good and see if it fixes your issue? A manpage would not help at all here. shortwave does not have any command-line options so there really isn't anything to document in a manpage. It could provide user help like several other GNOME apps do that would be viewable with GNOME's help browser app, yelp. Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
