This isn't an i386-specific issue, but rather a flaky test (or maybe more than one) that do some sort of time sampling. I've previously filed #1102485 about this showing up as flaky autopkgtests which pass when re-run.
I'd strongly prefer the tests actually be fixed than just skipped, but I haven't looked into the details. Mathias
