As can be seen on <URL: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/tupi >, the package is maintained by the 'Debian QA Group', which is the Debian way to stating that there is no maintainer of the package, is is orphaned. The state is also recorded in <URL: https://bugs.debian.org/885983 >. I touched the package because it used libtheora, and I needed to check if it would still build with a new version of theora. I have no further interest in the tupi package and do not use it myself. Perhaps you want to adopt the Debian package? -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
