Hi!

Please see /usr/share/doc/bluez-utils/README.Debian, it is documented
there how register-passkeys and add-passkeys are supposed to work.

> debian:/etc/bluetooth# cat /usr/share/doc/bluez-utils/README.Debian.gz
> |grep passkeys
> debian:/etc/bluetooth#
>
> (yes, nothing)

At least here I may can help with handing an "z" over to you. Use "zcat" instead and you will get this result:

---- Snip ----
chrisdi:/home/chrisdi# cat /usr/share/doc/bluez-utils/README.Debian.gz |grep passkeys chrisdi:/home/chrisdi# zcat /usr/share/doc/bluez-utils/README.Debian.gz |grep passkeys
/etc/bluetooth/passkeys/default. (e.g. echo -n "1234" >
/etc/bluetooth/passkeys/default )
with the device's address. ( /etc/bluetooth/passkeys/aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff
and the new passkeys will be registered.
---- Snap ----

Regards,

ChrisDi
