Ups, sorry, I did not parsed the highlighted line on that page... Yes, so lets remove it. My failure to simply compare version numbers and dates. > Seems like your request comes from a “salvaging team”. The salvaging team is in CC for the only reason that the package came up as a Bug of the Day candidate. We *also* care for RoQA bugs if we see a package does not make any sense. > Can you please clarify how this package is useful to you, how you intend to > maintain this package during the next stable release life time, and if you > intend to join the appropriate team for this package in order to maintain > it? Not at all. Its just in some unclear status. If it is useless we volunteer to file RoQA bugs. I simply wanted to backup your statement since if ftpmaster realises there is a statement "not maintained" and next to it a release from 2024 they feel their time wasted. I realised I should have read that page from top. Sorry about wasting your time. > [ snip ] Dear David, I regret to have stolen so much time of yours to write a long text with content that is absolutely clear to me. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'll file a RoQA bug immediately. One $DRINK in Brest goes on me. Please approach me there and sorry again Andreas. -- https://fam-tille.de
