Hi Frédéric, lisaac was a candidate for the bug of the day[1] today. I started by creating a repository on Salsa[2] and injected the latest upstream version from Github to see whether the gcc-14 bug is simply fixed. Unfortunately this is not the case and the build is somehow running into an endless loop. Before I might spent more time into this I would like to hear your opinion what might be the best strategy for the package:
1. Fixing the gcc-14 issue of the current version in Debian (which seems to be not very hard). 2. Trying to rather build latest upstream since its worth spending some time into this software 3. The usage numbers are pretty low and the maintenance effort is higher than we can afford so it might be more sensible to remove the package. All options are perfectly fine for me but since I can't decide between the alternatives above I'm asking before spending any time into it. Kind regards Andreas.
