This package is fairly outdated in Debian, and has no dependencies in
testing. Let’s not release Trixie with a useless and abandoned package
(unless someone disagrees before the freeze), and let’s get it removed
from Debian soon too.

php-mail is not useless. We use it in several projects.
Thanks for the feedback. If possible (free software, non NDA, etc. ;),
can you please share some examples?

I'll take a look into a package update.
Looks like you did, and updated also the package repository on salsa,
thanks a lot!
Please close this bug.
Doing so right now.
I noticed you also updated php-db, currently failing its autopkgtests.
You may have another look at it to unsure migration to testing before
the freeze. Please, also update the package repository if possible (and
feel free to “team upload” it instead of NMU ;).
Cheers,
taffit
