Hi,

matplotlib build-deps on pandas, and pandas build-deps on matplotlib.
Due to the current numpy2 transition, they are both in bd-uninstallable
and unable to bootstrap. Can one of the two packages break the cycle?

pandas build-depends on:
- python3-matplotlib:amd64 (>= 3.6.3~)
python3-matplotlib depends on missing:
- python3-numpy-abi9:amd64

matplotlib build-depends on:
- python3-pandas:amd64
python3-pandas depends on:
- python3-pandas-lib:amd64 (>= 2.2.3+dfsg)
python3-pandas-lib depends on missing:
- python3-numpy-abi9:amd64

Cheers,
Emilio

It failed the arch:all build ("dh_installdocs: error: Cannot find (any
matches for) "doc/build/html"") but didn't fail the arch:any builds on the
arches where they were already attempted, and matplotlib is already
building on those arches.
So it's likely kinda fixed for now.

Indeed. This will need another upload to fix the arch:all build, but the reported issue is fixed in -6 and pandas/matplotlib are being rebuilt. So I'm marking it as fixed.

Cheers,
Emilio
