Key expiry has a tendency to surprise. I was caught by it as well a few years back. I think there was a keyring update the 28th of December and I think they try to space them to be once a month, so unfortunately you might have to wait a few weeks.
In the mean time, the transition has moved to the endgame with the bug now becoming RC (a regular FTBFS in sid). I can offer to do a NMU of wordpress/6.6.1+dfsg1-1 with a minimal patch to fix the bug (1-line `Rules-Requires-Root: binary-targets`). This would take wordpress off the auto-removal list.
