Package: ghc-cvs
Version: 20050331-2
Severity: serious
Tags: sid
Justification: fails to build from source

ghc-cvs has not built successfully on any buildd. The sparc build was
killed after over a day, and my attempt to duplicate the problem has
been running on my sparc pbuilder for over 4 days. (Using little CPU.)

Example error (hundreds similar so far):

cd ./codeGen/should_compile &&
'/tmp/buildd/ghc-cvs-20050331/ghc/compiler/stage2/ghc-inplace' -no-recomp
-dcore-lint -Dsparc_unknown_linux -c cg002.hs -O -prof -auto-all
>cg002.comp.stderr 2>&1
Compile failed (status 25344) errors were:

*** unexpected failure for cg002(prof)

ghc-cvs testsuite problems are now fixed, so this builds in a reasonable
time again.

Thanks
