It seems this patch was already applied in html2text 2.2.3-3, cf.
<https://tracker.debian.org/news/1589051/accepted-html2text-223-3-source-into-unstable/>.

However, in this changelog entry and also in the patch at
<https://sources.debian.org/src/html2text/2.2.3-3/debian/patches/010_string-before-concat.patch/>
the wrong bug was referenced, i.e. the one mentioned above, and thus
this bug here remained open. I am closing it now with this message.

For fixing the reference I have opened a MR at
<https://salsa.debian.org/debian/html2text/-/merge_requests/4>.
