Package: src:averell Version: 1.2.5-1.1 Severity: serious Tags: ftbfs Dear maintainer:
During a rebuild of all packages in unstable, your package failed to build: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [...] debian/rules build dh build dh: warning: Compatibility levels before 10 are deprecated (level 9 in use) dh_update_autotools_config dh_auto_configure dh_auto_configure: warning: Compatibility levels before 10 are deprecated (level 9 in use) dh_auto_build dh_auto_build: warning: Compatibility levels before 10 are deprecated (level 9 in use) make -j1 make[1]: Entering directory '/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>' DEPEND averell.d ERLC averell.erl averell_app.erl averell_cors.erl averell_cors_impl.erl averell_cors_policy.erl averell_handler.erl averell_infos.erl averell_log.erl averell_sup.erl =ERROR REPORT==== 14-Dec-2024::17:28:22.292532 === beam/beam_load.c(206): Error loading module cowboy_middleware: This BEAM file was compiled for an old version of the runtime system. To fix this, please re-compile this module with Erlang/OTP 24 or later. compile: warnings being treated as errors src/averell_cors.erl:12:2: behaviour cowboy_middleware undefined % 12| -behaviour(cowboy_middleware). % | ^ make[2]: *** [erlang.mk:4941: ebin/averell.app] Error 1 make[1]: *** [erlang.mk:4758: app] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory '/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>' dh_auto_build: error: make -j1 returned exit code 2 make: *** [debian/rules:9: build] Error 255 dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build subprocess returned exit status 2 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The above is just how the build ends and not necessarily the most relevant part. If required, the full build log is available here: https://people.debian.org/~sanvila/build-logs/202412/ About the archive rebuild: The build was made on virtual machines from AWS, using sbuild and a reduced chroot with only build-essential packages. If you could not reproduce the bug please contact me privately, as I am willing to provide ssh access to a virtual machine where the bug is fully reproducible. If this is really a bug in one of the build-depends, please use reassign and affects, so that this is still visible in the BTS web page for this package. Thanks.
