Also, on a VM where chrome is not installed yet, chrome may
not be installed at all:

Today's chromium update in stable wants to remove "chromium" and "chromium-l10n": The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:             Depends: chromium-common (= 131.0.6778.108-1~deb12u1) but it is not going to be installed
