as a low threshold NMU I would like to upload 0.17.0 which I asked upstream to tag [1] after they incorporated changes that enabled recent versions magic-wormhole to work with magic-wormhole-transit-relay 0.3.1. That combination was broken after the latter's update to 0.3.1 due to some tests in magic-wormhole still needing older versions of the transit relay code. With the current updated code in git, magic-wormhole works again with no errors. To get magic-wormhole (and hence, the dependent gnome-keysign, which I maintain) back into testing, I am aiming to upload after this weekend unless there are any objections. The upload will fix #1080115 [2] and #1079401 [3].
