The problem is that Kiwi upstream has decided to add tests that require Kiwi to be installed on the target system and dh_python currently does not support running tests like this. I have asked for help on the mailing lists - I forgot where - but there was no one being able to help. So, unless someone helps me out getting Kiwi's testsuite run with dh_python, I see no chance in updating the package in the foreseeable future. Adrian -- .''`.
