Source: gtk4
Version: 4.16.1+ds-2
Severity: grave
Justification: causes non-serious data loss

Dear Maintainer,

After upgrading sid for:
[UPGRADE] gtk-update-icon-cache:amd64 3.24.43-3 -> 4.16.1+ds-2
[UPGRADE] libadwaita-1-0:amd64 1.5.3-1 -> 1.6.0-1
[UPGRADE] libgtk-4-1:amd64 4.14.4+ds-8 -> 4.16.1+ds-2
[UPGRADE] libgtk-4-bin:amd64 4.14.4+ds-8 -> 4.16.1+ds-2
[UPGRADE] libgtk-4-common:amd64 4.14.4+ds-8 -> 4.16.1+ds-2
[UPGRADE] libgtk-4-media-gstreamer:amd64 4.14.4+ds-8 -> 4.16.1+ds-2

Parlatype started to leak memory:
Playing a <3min audio leads to filling up a 32GB computer memory (mostly free
before playing audio).
Then OOM-killer killed X session => data loss risk.

Reverting to
gtk-update-icon-cache:amd64 3.24.43-3
libadwaita-1-0:amd64 1.5.3-1
libgtk-4-1:amd64 4.14.4+ds-8
libgtk-4-bin:amd64 4.14.4+ds-8
libgtk-4-common:amd64 4.14.4+ds-8
libgtk-4-media-gstreamer:amd64 4.14.4+ds-8
solves the issue: Parlatype does not leak memory anymore.

Thus I filled this bug to gtk4.

FYI: ii parlatype 4.2-2 amd64 Minimal audio player for
manual speech transcription

Thanks,
Franck
