Hello, and thanks for the bug report.
We use this package in Kali Linux (a Debian derivative). After checking
with the team, everybody agreed that it's fine if this package goes
away. Unmaintained upstream since 2018, and a Python3 port made by a
Debian contributor but never forwarded upstream: it doesn't look good.
Also, we didn't get bug reports in Kali, despite the package being
pre-installed in some scenarios, suggesting that nobody actually uses it.
I CC Samuel (pkg-security team member) so that he's aware that the
package goes away, in case he has something to say about it.
