To whom it may concern,
this package is very clearly abandoned. The current version in VCS is 4.5,
and such has been stuck there since 2019. Obsidian Icon Theme itself is on
Version 4.15, and every other distro that packages it has had this version for
almost 2 years. I cannot, in good faith, continue to let this abandonment go
on, so I am filing a blocking bug until something gets done about it.

I can see that you are bothered by obsidian-icon-theme being out of
date in Debian. However, it is not automatically an RC bug just
because you want a newer version to be packaged. Please see
https://www.debian.org/Bugs/Developer#severities for definitions of
severity.
I am closing this bug instead of simply downgrading the severity
because this is a duplicate of https://bugs.debian.org/1058464
