Hi Luca, thanks for the NMU.

Given this has been an issue for a week and it now stops systemd from
migrating to test, I have uploaded to DELAYED/1 with urgency=high a
patch to disable this test. MR on Salsa:

Sorry, I was traveling and didn't have time to look into this, yet.
Having a closer look, this sounds like a real regression in systemd-udev.
Did you double-check that "ReceiveChecksumOffload=" (inside a .link) file
is working properly with systemd v256 in unstable?
Netplan's tests seem to work in unstable, except when the new systemd is pulled
in.
It fails for Netplan's sd-networkd & NetworkManager backends, because both make
use of
systemd-udev .link files. There's no special handling for NetworkManager here.
It's OK to have it temporarily disable to make systemd migrate, but I'll
probably
revert the patch after merging your NMU in the packaging repo..
Please try to get this resolved in systemd, before the next upload.
Cheers,
Lukas
