I can't reproduce the bug you report.
Could you please post provide some background of your environment?
Generally its a good idea to report your problems using the reportbug program,
since it provides some usefull background. To generate the background
information you can execute reportbug --template xine-ui.
Could you please attach the output of an strace over xine-ui to this bug?
Since you are the only experiencing this, it might be a nice idea to downgrade
the severity.
